Scenery question - Trees

Hi All:

Have a question about trees on FS2004, or more specifically, tree densities. I do a lot of my sim flying out of Bancroft, Ontario, a small town on one of the southern margins of the Canadian Shield. In real life it's a picturesque spot nestled amongst granite hills, lakes, and mixed deciduous/coniferous forest that's quite scenic in the fall and winter. But in FS2004 the trees, while there, are fairly sparse compared to the amount of ground visible and really do not a forest make. Anything I can tweak settings-wise or is there a scenery application I can add to create a more dense, lush, realistic forest "carpet" from the air?

For Ultimate Terrain fans, here's a Bancroft add-on from Flight Sim (bancroft.zip)

Cheers,

N.

I concur with Tom regarding the 'Treegen' addon....

Personally, I think the tree thing is the one last worldwide ground-related upgrade I would like to see a payware or freeware developer bring to us. Since FS9 has REX, GE Pro, Ultimate terrain, Zinertek Ultimate water, and others (like my recently acquired) Zinertek ultimate night environment (which is very very good), The addition of some kind of addon allowing many more trees-per-cell would make the experience fantastic!
