Scenery questions about past scenery

Sorry I'm new to this particular discussion guys, but since it seems there is new life breathed back into CFS2, I just thought I'd give my two cents. I hope it at least asks a few questions and helps those working on the scenery issue a little to think about, and maybe so these wonderful gurus will not have to do so much work.

As far as some of the airfields go, are Maskrider's sceneries still the top? I know he did a lot of sceneries that were not listed as default, and at the time I was playing, they were the best.

Also, someone already did a fantastic Midway island. It is supposed to be far more accurate than the default (it puts the airstrip on the correct island). It also adds ports and things of that nature. If I find it, or if you know who did it, post it because I couldn't find it on my download cd's.

Other than that, I've got to give you guys kudos. I long thought CFS2 had gone the way of the dinosaurs. There was nothing like it back then and still isn't.

Thanks a million,

Todd

Taocat,

Midway 1942 was done by Otis. After a quick search I couldn't find it here at the OH, but I may have missed it. I do have the file and if you can't find it you can PM me with your email and I will try to send it to you. Please do not post your email in a thread for security reasons.
