Schlächter W.I.P

There were many different artificials in use. The one in the screenshots is an Fl. 22411-1 which has the "stick" running horizontally into the rear of the housing, that's why it's not visible.
The A-8 for instance was more commonly seen with an Fl.22415 which had the turn coordinator attached in a more classical manner vertically at the bottom, running right through the horizont bar and the aircraft symbol.
Some A-5/A-6 have also been equipped with an Fl. 22410 which had the turn coordinator attached vertically, too. I decided to use the 22411-1 in the A-5/A-6 because I just like that thing and the 22410 is too similar to the 22426 that we allready produced for the Bf110. Diversity is the spice of life.

Beauty and scholarship, united in one thread. Tell me friends, is this not a great forum?

As a lifelong lover of the 190, that cockpit looks amazing, now you said #1 will be done at the end of the week, does that mean your first variant in the pack is done?

Yes.
While there are minor changes in every plane of the whole lot there are three basic layouts:

- A-5/A-6 as shown in the screenshots.

- A-7/A-8/A-9 with a different main panel layout and some gauges added and moved around.

- Flugwerk A-8/N with modern "international" gauges

I'll put up a little video sometime next week (maybe) to show off a bit of the dynamic shine in the cockpit which really adds a lot to the immersion.

Please don't, Mathias, my jaw has already reached the floor... :jawdrop:
any lower and my head will come off... :isadizzy::pop4:

I have to say Mathias that your previous FW190A is one of my favourite planes in my sim and this version looks even better. I'm really looking forward to this being released.

It's perhaps not the correct place to ask, but is there any possibility of a little update on the Swordfish progress?

Thanks much Nick, really glad that you like it.

As for the Swordfish.... man, that reminds me to fire up the web editor and update the pages.:173go1:
I've abandoned the Stringbag as I feel we better do with old German iron, that's where we have our knowledge and expertise.
I've passed on the source files to Skippybing so it'll eventually see the light of day as freeware sooner or later.

Cheers guys!

One more shot for David, re the turn coordinator shadow.:engel016:

Hiya guys,
just a bit more stuff to look at,
some VC shots and two A-8 Sturmjäger with extra side armor, one of them with "Scheuklappen", extra glas armor on the canopy sides. Both have the nose MG's stripped.
Unedited FSX screenshots except some cropping.
