It looks even better with the new grey! At least for me the grey used in the other paints lack the vividness and darkness so typical of the edsg.

Believe it or not.. the original isn't that far removed from this but a layer in the fuse map kills it. I'm not sure yet if the same layer is present in the other maps or if they're the lighter grey anyway. I think it's worth pursuing though;)

For sure.. any new paints I do will be done using this colour. It might be possible to re-do some of the others but I can't promise anything yet.;)

This colour still looks a bit light and less 'slate grey' than some paints I've seen but it is supposed to be the defacto.. colour matched FAA EDSG. Looks nice doesn't it:encouragement:

Pants.. been fiddling with XD212 for so long, I've just realised I didn't put the black nose back for 112:banghead: Damn, damn and treble damn. Hang in there pop-pickers.. fix on the way!!

Cheers:encouragement: I'm 3/4 of the way through re-doing all my previous paints. I erroneously deleted some layers for 154 when trying to clean up the psd (ironically.. the 154 nose number so I'll have to redraw that one again) but the rest should be good to go v-soon;)

The scenery with 112 is UK2K VFR Airfields Vol1(v2).. Culdrose. The Devon in the background is Derek Palmers FS9 model and the Gannet AEW3 is Rob's. They're both AI along with a Chippy, Rapide, Heron and 2 Jetstreams;)
