Screen goes to minimum on start

It seems that 9 out of 10 times on a flight start up, (F/F or single mission) the screen immediately goes down to minimum. I then have to maximize the screen manually. I have 13 seperate CFS2 installs and this happens in all 13. All my installs are on a seperate HD. I have 8.1 windows operating system

Has anyone else experienced this?
 
Sounds like the screen location are not being saved to the cfs2.cfg You can edit Location= in the [MAIN] section.
 
AH-HA. I didn't know that Allen, thanks. This is what I have in, apparently, all of my installs. What would you recommend I change this to?

RUNNINGBADHW=0
Location=-8,-8,1688,1018
HideMenuNormal=0
HideMenuFullscreen=1
Maximized=1
 
Not sure why that the game would not be starting maximized as that looks like what is stored in the .cfg

The 1688,1018 looks while not maximized but will be a 4x3 resolution that works best for CFS2 as it is made for 4x3 resolutions
 
Thanks Allen. I guess I'll have to live with it then. Not such a big thing, just a nuisance. The game starts and stays in normal screen all the way to the initialization of the mission, be it F/F of a single, that's when the screen drops to minimum. I seem to be the only person that this occurs to.
 
You could try settin Maximized= to 0 than the game should use Location= values. You than can manually size the window and it should save on exit.
