Screenshot Question ?

Want to take better screenshots than standard ones. Use to use fraps long ago but see it isn't compatible with win10. What is a good free one ? Thanks for any advice. Regards,Scott
 
I don't think there will be any difference in quality between one made by the cfs3 key command and any third party program. What exactly are you hoping to make better?
 
Your problem isn't your screenshots or converting to jpg, but the forum's limits on file size and how it displays them. To get around the limitations you need to upload your shot to a different site. I use https://imgur.com/ because it's free and doesn't require you to create an account to use it. The downside is that they eventually delete your posts. Just convert your original screenshot to jpg (but keep it full size) and create a new post. Then you can get the share link for the image (see screenshot) and paste it into your post here. Use the BBCode (Forums) option. I have found that I need to first paste the link into a blank text document, and then copy it from there to my SOH post for it to show up, but this is probably just something weird with the browser I'm using.
