• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

If possible....would like to have a previous look, a friend just made a comment about some very very very bad critics , about double bridges, road across a river, rocky islands that don't exist completely wrong river delta, and lots of other anomalies.
Been at Orbx foruns, lots of complaints, sure they will fix it but, this is quite a new product , but, for what I read there, it's gonna take a lot of time, if ever, to fix anything or the best of it. So I'll wait and see, curious about Lisbon....

These are in P3D v2.0 but maybe will help. I don't use Global/Vextor in FSX as I'm happy with UTX/GEX, but can't use them in P3D. The bridges are indeed doubled with a road shown on the surface of the water below them. Let me know if you want a specific area shown. These are summer season.









 
Hi Dimus

Thanks a lot for the photos. They are not close to reality, specially the bridges, and those rocky islands on the river, they do not exist. And I can't see further north away from the sea and near Alverca Air Base some river islands wich make quite a distinct landmark. Would you be so kind? And what about Athens? Been there several times, love the city and country, how is she represented? Acceptable?

Here are two shots over the base and a bit more to the north. No islands except some small rocks. I haven't been to Lisbon, despite extensive travelling for work all these years, it's a real pity!





Athens looks OKish in Global. I just wish those road encasements (green sides) were smaller. They look awful everywhere. Hope they fix it.

Atached from FSX with UTX, photos 1-2. There's too much work to be done, and this is very bad and completely out of reality. Will wait as long as necessary til I know things are much but very much improved. Then I will buy, troika permits..
