Hi,

Noticed and fixed this also for my Savage Cub repaints...

Asobo... WHY!!!!!!!!! Second time a patch made repaints broken.

So it seems not to affect the TBM.

Marcel

Oh, Hi Marcel! I didn't realize this was you!...

I learned the fix from your fix... You helped me once again!

How did you figure it out? After seeing what you did, I thought maybe removing the $ sign made it look for something that it couldn't figure out where it was and so, didn't bother doing... I dunno, something, whatever it is that it decides to show the decal (AGGHHH!)... I tried using "" instead of a non-variable name like you used, and it didn't work. Quite brilliant fix if you ask me, but I'm a lowly mechanical engineer whose detailed knowledge of programming is Fortran from the '80's.

I checked a bunch of planes and the Savage Cub seems to be the only one affected by this bug.
I don't understand why Asobo isn't communicating with and about and acknowledging the repainting society.

Thank you Tom, Manschy, YoYo and ryanbatc. I'm happy that the set pleases you.

@ FlyingsCool, it is only ONE aircraft.
To my knowledge, the mirror textures of the Boeing 747 are only found in certain areas.
The texture is from flightsim.to and the author is mcambel. He achieved the livery by avoiding placing text or logos inside these areas.
The livery is therefore displayed correctly on the right and on the left. The author made 3 or 4 other textures for the 747.
(He has just adapted them to work with the latest update 1.12.13.0).

Cool! Well, your shots look great!
I hate that they bothered to reflect any portion of the texture set. It's like they don't understand how important repainting aircraft is to us. Makes the whole sim personal for us.
I was hoping when they combined the HULL into the Fuselage, they were fixing the problem... no luck :(

Who's Hellcat is this? Looks great, did you get it all working? Did you have to do anything special?
I tried a couple planes myself, but, too many issues and I just don't have the time it would take to learn all the details of yet something else. It would be nice to know a couple of planes that work after conversion without too much editing.

Vertigo's, and I was as surprised as anybody. Just used the Legacy Converter (say yes to everything) and Legacy settings on FS. Start in the air and use keyboard shortcuts for cockpit controls. Bit twitchy on joystick but easily landable. Always loved Vertigo stuff - had real charisma. Trying his Bearcat next.

Was a bit trail and error and starting to diff "winmerge rules" the panel.cfg files. (new originals with my versions)
The problem is also present in the VL-3 (mod), with the VL-3 there are also some changes to the model-files.

I did a quick Christmas flight with real weather, which seemed pretty accurate. I broke out of the wx at the end of the runway and could see snow squalls all around the area. Very cool. Happy Holidays all.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]N53043 would be a cool one...
(I'd like to take these on, but, I got scared off by the riveting and am waiting for the paint kit)
