The astronimers on the Big Island had a shipment of equipment flown in from the mainland on a freight flight to Honolulu. I picked it up and headed to Hilo.

Airport in sight, on course for a short final into Rwy 8
I took a Piper Warrior from its home base at Biggin Hill down to Headcorn airfield earlier this evening. This replicates a real world scenario for me. When I was a kid I used to babysit for our next door neighbours. The father next door was a Canadian Air Force officer on TDY to London. In return for my babysitting he often took me along when he hired aircraft from the flying clubs at Biggin Hill. Headcorn was a 30 minute flight - perfect for a summer evening. Usually it was Cessna 152/172 but occasionally and memorably a Chipmunk! Magical times.
Just to add that the clarity and crispness of the instruments in this Just Flight model are stunning and show how well the 2020 product stands up still today.
Among the updates, I've revised the canopy rail and cockpit turtle deck textures (for use with Randall Snow's Improvement Mod), as well as made numerous adjustments to values in the albedo and comp textures, across the airframe, for more accurate visuals (metal and paint). I'll continue working through the rest of my Mustang repaints, giving them the same treatment.
Excellent stuff john. She's arrived at Biggin Hill now - they are "re-mantling" her after the sea container transit. Hope to get up to the hanger to see her maybe next week.
