This is the other one.... cos you may of guessed they come in two's.

In the VC the dash looks fuller as it still has switches ,dials and knobs.... seems i edited them out of the 1st one, when i was editing out the org gauges.... which actualiy hard coded in mdl and not xml.

Also animated the yoke or stick or whatever.... added milton's wwii co pilot... looks the part... meh.

Next project is another model from HerbieG.... the B17F, swapped pilots ... still need to make a panel for gauges to sit on in VC.... also looking at adding rest of the crew , gunners whatever.... and add some LoDs for better f/r....

Small update ... gauges hastely put in....had an issue with gauges being upside down... but fixed .... smaller gauges are painted on.... but can be added on top.

We have Lods.... i was able to call the props and landing gear from the main model, to the second Lod ... which is animated ,clever i think at least.... with jumps and calls.... after some trial and error it paid off.... things that can be done with scasm .... can be quite creative.

From what I've read, Zero pilots were quite deadly in their aiming, even with only their 7.7mm MGs. I think this video is a really good presentation of the Zero and its pilots, learned quite a lot from it.

And really, seeing a Acwai's Zero with a Captain Kurt's Wildcat in the same screenshot, what a treat for the eyes, CFS2 looks really great with those fantastic creations :applause:

Thank you for that wonderful video Ludo. It honestly clicked a lot of things in place for me when it came to the Zero. Truly an example of perfecting everything to meet every possible approach with the resources available.

The Zero was truly an incredible machine, only eclipsed by time, better technology and more resources; not flawed from the beginning.

I struggle more with the later US fighters than the early ones:costumed-smiley-034 ...

An AI A6M5 on my tail, while my F6F3 wallows around, unable to accelerate fast enough, or generate any meaningful deflection angle...

It was only going to end one way...

I am always surprised by how quickly the heavier US fighters lose energy, & how slow they are to pick up airspeed again, unless you dive away (I guess because they're so heavy...). But sometimes you just run out of vertical room :pop4:.
