Screwed?

Tim, not sure if it is any help, MSXML4.dll is residing in C/windows/system32 on my setup, maybe yours has been corrupted or path broken, not sure if you can extract that dll out of the Accel disks to replace the duff one.

Edited to include: also in the main FSX folder is msxml4.manifest which maybe lists a lot of the contents of MSXML4.dll used in FSX

I am not the brightest comp operator but it may give clues to those who are brighter

ananda and Tim the link given by ananda should do it I have that file in my backup files so I think I used it in initial FSX/Accel install

Kiwikat, no it is not invisible I was looking in windows and FSX for instances to the files also checked Accel for a sp2 cab but there is'nt one the MSI installer thing I found in my storage so it seems it is not pert of the FSX setup

lol, nevermind... :monkies:

Before you do all the reloading, why not try to reset the system back to a day when you know it was working fine? I did this once and recovered my system.

You ought to be able to repair MSXML 4.0 from "Programs and Features" (W7) or "Add Remove Programs (XP).
