View attachment 51651Jens SE161 Languedoc. A FS9 model with excellent compatibility in X. This one went right under my radar, but I'm not much of a tube fan, albeit a 'square' tube. Almost a 4 engine DC-2, or a Condor/ Ju290 mash up. Quickly superceeded by more modern types-it first flew in 1939, at least one prototype flew in Luftwaffe marks, and the type saw long service with the Airforce and Navy as transports and crew trainers. Never content to have one project on the go at a time...
The first one has a bit of artistic license, as the Languedocs looked a bit bland. Its ponderous, climbs slowly, is rather sluggish. The modeling is nice, clean and simple, VC nicely done, easy on frames. Lots of fun to plod about inView attachment 51646
