Hello,
I am looking for the se5a_mccudden aircraft required in some of the OFF missions.
Any idea where this skin can be found ?
Thanks for your help !
Cheers !

Well firstly if you D/L those missions from SOH, they weren't written by the OFF Mob. Only approved for use in the game

I'd say your best bet is to find out, the date, and the squadron.
Then an educated guess, as to the skin is possible :ernae:

Hi Gosd, that A/C (and the skin :mixedsmi:) is a Phase I Se5a.
Many planes got new names in Phase II.

If you're using old missions...you have to edit the planes.

In Phase II, there are 4 choices for that. se5a_Sqd would work.

I enjoyed many of those P1 missions!

I suspect that the McCudden SE5a is more than a skin. McCudden started the war as a mechanic and knew much more about his engines than most pilots. As noted in his autobiography (Flying Fury), he supervised the installation of higher compression pistons in his SE5 which would give it both a higher top speed and higher ceiling. I think he did it primarily to get up to the Rumplers, which typically had a ceiling advantage over the SE5s so were untouchable at their ceiling. He became a specialist in ambushing recon planes. Do you know if the McCudden SE5 has higher performance in OFF?
