Seafire MkVb and Other Item available!

Is this the first early Seafire (Ib/IIc) to appear for us?

Hang Fire...

...you ever hear of a Seafire, I think it's a Mk IX, that was put out by Aluminum Cloud? I need it for a campaign....

The only Seafires I've got in my hangar are by Budda13 and AF Scrub, Antonio - and they're Mk IIc's and Mk 17's. I also found ONE Mk 47 done by Alpha back in the dark ages (2001).....

This is a tricky one, because there are two Seafires already available to us in CFS2. One is by Aeroplane Heaven, and Buddha13 did a conversion kit for it.

Buddha13's files: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...wnloads&FileUploadName=buddha13&ammm=15&pap=4

In addition, there IS a multi-lod Seafire, a Mk. III, which I'm using for the "Beaus in the Sand" campaign, and I've already used in the "Tirpitz" missions.

" You’ll need the Supermarine Seafire Mk. III by Marc Siegel and Martin Wright
Location: www.flightsim.com

Log in, (get access if you need to), scroll to the bottom of the page (look for ‘main menu’) then go to ‘search file libraries’ (it’s on the right-hand side) Then, in the box that says ‘search for text’ type in ‘Marc Siegel’, then you should see only two files.

Make sure you download the CFS2 aircraft, and follow the self-installer instructions carefully. There are optional instructions for the soundpack, if you wish."

That "new" Seafire is really the Yas Spitfire Mk. Vb with a paintjob.

Correct me if I'm wrong SC, I think it's Rami's campaign addition to a little mission collection for the 190 DORA. I've looked all over the computer and can't locate it; it could be I sent it along to a friend when I gave him a copy of a movie that sounds mysteriously like Rambo IV.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for all the links and the info Rami. I'm registered at flightsim.com, I'll go poke around over there too. Missus has had a lot of dr. appts. lately, I've been offline more than usual. I don't mean to jump from one thing to the other but who uploaded Mauro's stuff? I got three links bookmarked to Mauro's stuff here at SOH someone uploaded but they were linked before the new site setup back in March when SOH was offline for some days and the links don't work. They were not listed under Mauro's name but someone uploaded for him. I don;t remember now what it was I wanted.

Thanks buddy.

Probably the best TRUE Seafire was released in March 2002, over 8 years ago! It's a Mk III by Cryingtoto & Martin Wright. If my memory is correct, it was the first freeware GMAX AC for CFS2, is Multi-LOD, has full animation, including wing complex wing fold and trim tabs. File name should be "SFCFS2.zip", it's not in the archives here that I could find, so try SimV or flightsim.com. If you don't have any luck, PM me with a E-mail address and I'll send it to you. Aluminum Cloud released two additional skins, file names "Seafire3_899.zip" & "Seafire_HMS_Hunter.zip". I can send those as well if you can't find them.

Boatz

I've copied this info from all of you on Notepad Boatz, and will get to it Monday afternoon when I got some download time, I will shoot over to flightsim.com and start looking.

Thank you

Bones,

I not only updated a mission pack for the Fw-190, but I also updated a set of "Tirpitz" missions.

Rami,

Sorry about that, I typed my message and then stopped to make some better screens, by the time I posted my message, yours was there.
