Is you ETO install updated to 1.40? if so I'm not sure why you were missing the file.

If your ETO install is updated to 1.4 you should see in white text up in the right corner of the game splash screens REV. 1.40

I have 1.30 ... I will download the 1.40 and try to install it over my actual (modified) 1.30.

Hi Emile,

installing over a modified install should work ok, it wont delete any extra files you may have put in your game.

but if you have editied the planes that were included with ETO 1.30 then you will lose those edits, as ETO 1.40 has pretty much updated all of the existing included aircraft in addition to adding in many more.

remember to read the instructions very carefully before installing. the main one being make sure you have the game set to era 1 before doing the install.
