Why can't the Search Function find anything?? :pop4:

I'm trying to see if there are any posts for the JustFlight Eurofighter, and no matter what I enter I get the following message:

"The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: Eurofighter"

I know there are posts on the Eurofighter, and I recall one thread on the JustFlight product but I cannot get any results. What am I doing wrong? :pop4:

Not alone there mate. I have successfully managed to fin 0 files in a search. I always thought it was me.

Graham.

Great satan, also known as google, is your friend, just type "site:sim-outhouse.com justflight eurofighter"

Been there, done that. Tried that phrase with both Google and with Bing. Apparently the Justflight Eurofighter has never been discussed here at SOH (which I doubt as we discuss everything else, LOL).

Really. It should not be that hard. Anyone should be able to call up all the threads on "Eurofighter" and if need be narrow it down to "Justflight', "AlphaSim", "Virtavia" or some other developer.

Something fishy going on here... :isadizzy:

The search function relies on the up loader adding key words to the file listing.

When the library was originally built it could not require key words. Now it has been changed and you must add at least one key word to upload a file.

The issue is there are lots of files that have no key words at all which will make them hard to find.

Dave, it's not just the library, it's the forums too.

For example, if I look for the word 'Militracks' I get the same message as described above, even though I know there are at least two threads with that word in it, because I started both!
I tried finding the thread about the upcoming Virtavia Boeing B-29 superfortress I started some time ago when they added new screenshots, and I did not manage to find the first thread again so I just started a new one..

I looked today and everything that should be running the search engine is turned on.

:isadizzy:

It might be awhile before this is figured out.
