Seeking Rhumba's Older Waters and Mesh advice

I am building an "old style" pre new Rhumba install to preserve the coast lines so i can study them for possible update work on the new files.

But...i cant find any of his older coastlines in my own archives or on line, Avsim has not reloaded them after the meltdown..

can anyone help out? i can send you my e mail if you can share any of them with me or if they are small enough to attach to a reply here....that will be wonderful too...what i need are:

CFS2 European Water c2eurwate.zip
CFS2 East Canada & Greenland Water c2ecanwater.zip
CFS2 Coast Pacific cfs2coastpac.zip

Seeking Mesh Advice

I had posted two topics and the admins appear to have combined these here...so any advice on the mesh too will be most welcome...............

OK, am working on an "old style" pre new Rhumba install and it has been a while since i installed...i need to ask for advice on where to put the meshes. My thought is to put each area mesh into its own folder, and then into the scenery file in each and activate them all in the Sceneryd8 folder. Or they can all go into the world folder of the Sceneryd8 file. Does anyone have adivce on this or if it makes a difference. This is a research build and i am studying how things work .... i know it seems a step back in time but i am studying the coast line situation....and needed to do the best pre new Rhumba install i can. Any advice is most welcome. And where in the load order to put them ...i am supposing deep down, just after the default installs so the new textures, like Pac Tex and other new textures will display properly is my thought at this point.

Some of your requests.

Chris;
I have some of what you want but they exceed the file limits. Check over at Simviation, I think that I saw them there.:ernae:

Hi and thanks. i did check at sim aviation and they have his flatteners but not the waters. I will keep seeking :)

Hi CG

In the Avsim library in the search dialog box :
enter in "search for ": Richard Ludowise
and in "category" choose : CFS1 and CFS2 scenery

You will have all the Richard "Rhumbaflappy" Ludowise cfs2 stuff .

Ya Jean thanks, i found em all and stared at them longingly :) they are all asleep. But if anyone has any of them, i got a back up game research archive on File front i can give you the password and user name for and they can be uploaded easily. :) Just trying to do my research into what it was like and what we can do to add the coast lines back.

Fantastic. Much much appreciated shipmate :) And i decided to toss the messes into the scenery folder under world. Hopefully my instlall wont blow up

Thanks Fibber, sorry but for some reason none of them uploaded. I PMd you. And i checked at sim aviatoin and none of the water coastline files are there, just Richard's flatteners for Europe and the Pacific. AT least i could not find them in CFS2, I will try in FX 2000.

Tell me if you have any problem receiving them from PSULLYKEY in a PM. I also have them all. I will be more than gald to send them to you!
