'Sexy Sue' A-26 On Mark Marketeer Sights and Sounds

Only it wasn't known as "Sexy Sue" way back then. :) It was actually based (non-flying) for many years in the '90s, just several miles from where I grew up, after the wing spar snapped during an airshow at the St. Paul Downtown Airport in '92 (fortunately, it got down safely).

She seems quite active with its current owner, flying all around the western United States. Based in Washington, but often sighted in California, Nevada and Wyoming, up into Canada, etc. One of about 15 Invaders currently considered airworthy in the world, though not all currently active.

Here is an article about the aircraft, with some photos of the interior, from back in 2012: https://napoleon130.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/sexysue.pdf

I knew it.... I knew he would know this Aircraft. :untroubled:

I saw a movie this AM on cable TNT (Cash McCall) Starring Natalie Wood and James Garner and it featured this aircraft. The flick was made in 1960

Are you familiar with this aircraft too; i.e. previous/current owner? But then, you could just google it like I did. :untroubled:
