Shade is released !

As it looks like you figured out already, midday is the worst time to try and find shadows. Early or late in the day is where it really... uh... shines. That's true for real life too though, I suppose.
 
Ive settled on the 'winter chills' present. It's still a tad dark with the ENB thing on, but love the mist and rich colours.
 
Gorgeous work Skyhawk. And it reminded me. The Round the world race is ponly a few months away. Its time for pilots to pull out those mustangs and other fast movers they have and start practicing :)..

I am interested in shade. Although I am hoping for presets already melded into it that work for my intentions. I've never been one for anymore than 3 clicks of the mouse to go flying., but it looks fantastic for taking screenshots!! Not my game. Hopefully there will be included presets for different parts of the worlds climates. I'd bite then.
 
There are some presets, I've settled for 'Winter Chills', haven't got the desire to go messing about. I'm pretty pleased with it now, it gives FSX the deptth of colour that it never had.

Before you install 1.01 fire up the 1.0 gui and make a note of your presets(if you've resaved them but with the same name back them up first,after 1.01 is installed you'll have to reload/clone in the 1.01 gui as by default 1.01 now has a diffrent preset loaded into each day when installed

Sorry about my absence from the various shade threads about the place its just that ive been busy working some changes into 1.02 those inc the ability to load just light\shadow or fog values
from a preset allowing ppl to mix and match each of these ramps to make new presets,aswell as a much much improved custom value picker which will allow you to pick any pixiel from anywhere on your current screen
and set it as a light\shadow\fog value this means you will be able to pull up pictures from real life sunrises\sunsets and click and pick there colour values for use with shade,even i think thats pretty cool! and it allows for much faster building of presets or tweaking of the existing ones

Adrian tells me the 1.01 wrapper has been uploaded to FFS's servers,did you try re-downloading the latest package?

From 1.02 onwards i'll be doing the standard update patch thing this should be a faster way to get stuff out and allow ppl who purchase at other stores to patch from a common source without having to wait on a store front (that is when i get it hosted elsewhere!) i'll also build full packages so hosts will also have the latest files versions should ppl not want to mess about with patches

I reload the package and is the same as the original.

Anyway, I am quite happy with Shade as it is.....Great program.

I bought Shade the other day....still trying to get the feel of it. Although I do like what I see so far.

Hoping to get v1.01 tonight if I can find it.
 
Just re-downloaded & got V1.01 :salute:

No notification from FlightSimStore though, unless it got buried with the spam.
