There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Finally I downloaded. Had to gess was 1.01.
Silence fron Flight Sim Store.
Fortunatly we are helping each other to find out what is going on.

Going to be about a week or so now due to the fact that the code has progresses to 1.02,i dont want to upload 1.01 to simmarket then have to put 1.02 a few days later
Also due to the current exchange rate and commissions bank charges im sorry to say that Shade maybe a euro or 2 more expensive on Simmarket

Thanks Darrent. The name of it threw me. I was looking for "Shade" , not Mogwaisoft - Shade for FSX.
For some reason I can not get the login to allow me in. Even after requesting a new password two times, it does not seem to work.
Cookies deleted, browser (firefox) reset, restarted my pc, cleaned with crapcleaner as a last resort. And still can't sign in. I originally tried to create a new account, and it said my details were already in the system. Which they should be. But I could not log in! I even tried to pay with my Paypal by clicking on the Paypal banner they show there and it DOES NOT WORK!!! sigh
Darn, I was hoping to get to try this on my day off from work today. Is there anywhere else this can be purchased from?

Sorry to say i have no control over the purchase/activation side of things all that stuff is handled by flightsimstore so you need to ask them about purchase problems/issues
im pretty sure you can activate there wrapper via another PC though as it will ask how you want to proceed with activation on install

Im almost finished working the changes for 1.02 in and im working on a few more Presets for ppl to play with,Changes in 1.02 will allow much faster building/tweaking of your own custom values as well as the ability to mix and match tone ramps from various presets (I.E. load light from one,shadows from another, fog from another and you'll have a whole new preset to play with) hope to have this ready and up at flightsimstore by the end of the week
Sorry but that means you'll have to login to your Flightsimstore accounts and redownload/activate the package yet again (you dont need to rebuy as all of shades package updates will be free)
i was going to just add patches as updates from now on but as its now been ripped off updating the whole package is only way i can keep updates out of those non buying users hands for a while
I'll let you guys know when 1.02 is ready to go (this time i'll wait till adrian tells me its live )

I sent Steve an email about the issues I'm having over @ Flightsimstore. He told me that it's beyond his control, and that it needs to be dealt with through their support on site. Steve also stated that Shade will be available soon via Simmarket, after his v1.02 updated installer is completed. He gave a time frame roughly by end of the week it should be available at the latter I mention.

I had an interesting problem today with Shade, at first I didn't think it was Shade but it looks like it is. When I booted up FSX I found that the lighting was all wrong, midday and I had lights on in the cities, my clouds were a dirty brown and everything was pretty dark...(I use Megascenery Earth ORegon and Washington.) Figuring it had something to do with the season change I went and booted FSX without Shade and set the textures back to summer.. Voila, everything was back to normal.. Exited FSX and rebooted using just FSX with the fall textures and everything was okay.. Exited again and rebooted using Shade and the problem came back.. Any ideas?
I had that happen a couple of times when using a modified .bat file to launch shade_nl.exe, wait five seconds, then launch external FPS limiter. Now that you can just "burn in" the shade preferences and not launch shade_nl at all, it's not an issue. Were you perhaps trying to do something of that sort?
