Shined MDLs for The B-24 Guy's Overhauled Stockers

I just uploaded two packages to the CFS2/Other section. These two packs contain shined MDLs for The B-24 Guy's Overhauled stock aircraft. Not too much shine, not too little shine....just about right I think.

I did not shine the B-25...really no point in doing so now that Tango and Crew have produced a wonderful series of B-25s that surpass the stocker in every way.

I did not shine the B-24 as it was not over hauled...if you need a nice B-24 I suggest the freeware package from Alpha Sim...has the D and J models.

I did not shine the C-47...but will once I get it reinstalled. The overhauled Gooney Bird is a good one and well worth putting the spit and polish to.

To use the shined MDLs, simply copy them and paste them into the MODEL folder of your overhauled aircraft...click yes to over write the older MDL file.

These files have been tested in CFS2 and FS2004 and worked in both sims.

The B-24 Guy did a F4F-3, based on the stocker F4F-4. The files needed to put the plane together are here in the library.

Yes, they will work for the overhauled skins...such as those done by Revev, Morton, Sopwith and others.

Awesome job Obio! I'm liking the new effect! You added agian some new life in to these stockers! :ernae:

But just one itybity ting. Didn't Dbolt re-do the F4U Corsair and not B-24 Guy?

Yep, D-Bolt did do the overhaul on the Corsair. It's been so long since I have put together the update package for the Corsair, and everyone talks about The B-24 Guy's overhuals, that I forgot that D_B did the Corsair and gave credit for that bird to The B-24 Guy.

I have the C-47 package reinstalled, and will get the MDL shined and uploaded sometime tomorrow.

Thanks Obio. We've got so many nice updates and new planes, trains and automobiles, that I get the authors mixed up sometimes too.
