Ship DPs

Just a simple dumb question. Most of the JMK warships have more that one DP file. Almost all of them have a target DP along with the regular DP. What's the
difference? Can you damage or sink a ship with the regular DP or do you need the Target DP instead? Thanks.

The effects are different but both will let the ship sink.

BTW Stuart has done a lot of those ships and more except for some carriers. They are also more frame friendly.Others have done IJN ships that are more frame friendly.

JMK is the only one who did the 6 carriers that attacked Pearl Harbor that was released except for the payware ones, the VN Navy also did them but were never released.

To answer question 1.: the differences lies in the "hardness" or defensive armor and in the amount and intensity of the AA fire o the ships. #2 Yes you (with a few friends) can sink one with he original dp, but the AA fire is difficult to survive.

TRY THIS: afshipdp0307 is a collection of alternate dps that I use in my JMK ships. The defensive hardness an anti-air fire are more reasonable.

Thanks. I may or may not switch out the DPs. Not sure.

Thanks. I think I have that folder somewhere. I did go ahead and download it anyway in case.

Shadow Wolf,

I wanted to mention that but could remember the name.

The ships in our installs have different effects that my son and Talon did.
Here's some pics of Hiryu with them.Notice multiple fires.

Attacking JMK Yamato (my Operation Ten-Go mission) with F6Fs and SB2Cs:

I'd never get this close with the original dp.
