Man, You would have to really, really love flying to volunteer for that! I have got to make sure I have all this info before this thread disappears. You know after a few hours of flying around, I think I saw a couple of those UFOs. I fly sitting on a potty kind of thing already. Boy, I would hate to be the guy who had to clean up those cockpits!

Hi SW: Well I just got around to installing first aircraft you sent me. I think I installed everything in the right place. Funny, I have never heard cfs2 stallhorn, is there such a thing? I am not to sure about country cfg. file. Just had to try a short hop. There is no room for boneheads onboard this plane, that is why I will not be flying for awhile. I am going to read up on how to work this thing. The way i have been flying lately, I deserve to be grounded. Thanks for everything SW. Just when you think you know what your doing, you really don`t. I installed f4f, really nice!

Sometimes when you fly it goes smoothly with nothing wrong. Other times it seems you can do no right! Just hang in there.
Note with the Avhistory planes the checklist gives you the elevator and rudder trim settings for takeoff. Use them. Radial engine planes heat up fast. Learn to open the cowl flaps and ease back a bit on the prop pitch or you'l find your engine overheating and yourself swimming home. This is only if you use the RealityX module of course, Watch those high G turns and pullouts! Again, the checklist will tell you the max positive and negative Gs for each plane.
The expanded country cfg is to allow all the other nationalities thet the stock country.cfg doesn't have. Back up the original and drop the new one into the main cfs2 folder.

I printed off check list and reality x info. I was reading them awhile ago, fell asleep, just like my old school days (daze?) Getting things trimmed before take off will different. I have just been shuffling my feet around. The fact that you can see what trim you have applied is pretty cool. There is so much I want to do with the sim, but I just have to get the flying part done first. I have had a pretty good look at some of the add-on files lately. The way things are looking, a fella may never have to go anywhere else to find stuff. Man,those ships were nice! I can see how a person would need a way to keep all the extra aircraft and ships, etc

bottom of page, look for Ship Manager in Utilities. Acts like a dock.
Then click on MW graphics which will take you to Martin Wrights site.
There in the cfs2 utilities you can get ACMan which you can use as a hangar for those aircraft you rarely use.

Hi Collin, When I was at your site I downloaded it. I have not installed it yet. I Hope to be able to fly well enough by aug or sept, that I feel good about it. After that, I`ll be downloading so much stuff, we may have another breakdown! Even if you plan on flying 2 or 3 different aircraft, the next thing you know somehow there`s 60, 70,...... The ships, missions, scenery,all the goodies, oh I can hardly wait! Oh well, back to reading zzzzzzzzzz

Stallhorn? ..... fly at 100kts & yank the stick back hard .... then you'll hear it!
Personally I don't like the way it sounds so I made a "null" stallhorn (no sound) .... find it thru the link below in my addons.

Geeze, Dirtman, I must have installed that null version of yours. I have fallen less than gracefully out of the sky on many occasions, and all I get is a sign. I`m sure some horn blaring away, would make the decent much more enjoyable. Thanks for your offer, but I got swearin` down real good. Sometimes, It sounds like I`m speaking in tongues!
