Started from an idea from Blood Hawk in the P-47 Air Sea Rescue Kit thread. The idea was to make an object that could be destoryed and leave behind a destoyed version and the oject oudl move on water. I didn't trhink CFS2 had logic for any any object to move on water but for MDL based ship.

The LTV4 Landing Tank Vehicle - U.S. (veh_ltv4) could move on water so I stated messing with the idea of a ship whould would leave behind an old slick when "sunk"

As you can see it works but has it own set of flaws. First smoke dosen't stop when the ship is "sunk". Torpedo don't work for both player and AI. Player torpedo go right under and the AI won't attack with torpedos.

Interesting. Nice tailspin plane there. but in blue. :wavey:

Have you tried our trick for the Zeppline? Make a double damage box, side by side. Extend it below the water line. See if that will work. We may need a new smoke effect to get it to end.
