Well, serious as these paints are ... I'd say this "paint" is the most hard-core of any An-2 adaptation ...

I'm picking up this model by the weekend. Looks just fabulous, and the paints look superb. Now call me boring, but hoping some nicely weathered Aeroflot schemes (separate from the Red 55721 stockpaint) come along ... stuff along these lines ...

And Barnes, your "boring" white paint is just the ticket for my taste - Soviet-era schemes from the Motherland are my favourite on Soviet types - I'll take them any day!!

This is such a cracking machine! Tried to do the backwards flying last night in 40 knot winds but didnt want to budge, just sat stationary...

One thing i noticed was how hard it is to turn using the wheel breaks...

Is anyone doing the UK based paint schemes?

Sorry Ian if I wasn't clear on that, I am afraid I do not have the skill required to do that paint myself.
I hope someone will have a go at it.

HI Jimmy - sorry if I had realised I would not of done it and carried on with my utterly butterly repaint which I was getting bored with!
