• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just wondering: how prompt is Sibwings with the delivery of activation keys? Is this a matter of days?

:wavey:

It´s a matter of seconds. I just activated the birdog and the antonov a week ago in FSX-SE. The key arrived seconds after i sent the request. I think it´s an automated process. :encouragement:

What a needles complicated way of registration! And a support section that doesn't react!

Bummer!

It´s endeed a complicated activation process. As SpaceWeevil said, look in your spam folder for their reply email. That got me before too

Youre 100% sure you sent to them the hardware finger print using their activation app?

I found it, but I must have messed up something. I must wait fourteen days to re-activate the software! This is for the manual "How do I get my customers to walk out on me?" All lessons in one.

:dizzy:

For what it's worth, they did do away with that form of activation for the An-2 Colt, and made it a single key. It was just never applied backwards to the Safir and Bird Dog.

In the past (2010) I had fairly prompt email support with a similar issue, but I'm not sure if the developer is still active.

I read this with some interest having just installed their An-2 into Prepar3d v3.2.

That particular flight model, more than any other GA aircraft, transmits the feel of flight in a computer simulation. That said, the developer response is abysmal. Alexander Metzger has had an FDE update ready for months and yet nothing from the developers.

Questions on the forum are only answered by a few dedicated fans.

I hope that changes, their product is TOTALLY BRILLIANT and that development team deserves to flourish!
