Silly questions about CH MFP

Hey guys :)

This is sort of silly, but how exactly do I use my MFP? Do I put a template down under the plastic screen, and then put buttons on top? I'm sorry, this really is a n00b question, but I don't want to break anything :faint:

A bud of mine has one like that..It has dropins for every he plays..Pretty cool....game
 
It's a neat little bit of hardware... At least I think it will be :p
