Thanks Wombat, having read the whole thread before, I know why we are seeing this, my question was is SOH a safe place to visit? Can we download stuff without picking up something nasty?

if a site is http and not https, it isn't necessarily not secure. It's just a difference in protocol that is used to communicate.

Real security lies in the way the webserver is configurated. The fact that SOH doesn't suffer much from attacks or hacks is a good indication of the fact that it is indeed secure.

Oh, and blindly trusting warnings in any given browser is like trusting politicians. We shouldn't!
