noddy

SOH-CM-2025
The model has been update to 2024 standards:

The aircraft has been developed natively using the new features of 2024.

  • It is possible to walk around the aircraft to carry out external pre-flight checks.
  • The aircraft uses the MSFS 2024 wear and dirt system, it has been enhanced storing the wear and dirt status for each individual variant/livery, that it’s restored when you reload the aircraft .
  • The flight model has been improved, in particular it has been greatly reduced, if not fixed, the behaviour a little nervous on the roll and yaw axis.

if you purchased via Simmarket you get a discount against the new model.

How much is the discount and the resulting price?

I note on Marketplace the upgrade costs ~£15, which I consider expensive. Even though it is ~1/2 the original price others are charging a lot less, if at all.

This is a full rebuild for FS2024 with FS2024 features like wear and tear, the (does anyone really enjoy doing this more than a couple of times?) walkaround, FS2024 flight model enhancements, etc. So it's higher-priced than some updates, but they are at least delivering some work for the investment. Some FS2024 "native" planes feel more like compatibility updates, without much in the way of new features.

Agreed $17 is high for previous owners, though. But their original plan was "hey, we're rebuilding this from the ground up for '24, so it'll be full price for everyone" until we all explained we'd never buy anything from them ever again if they did that. :) So it's at least better.

This was one of my favorites in FS2020 and glad to see it in FS2024. Low-wing, acrobatic, simple analog cockpit with all the nav radios you could need to avoid getting lost. Nice flight mechanics too.

Lovely aircraft to explore and see the world.
