Folks:
Since my loss of CFS3, and my inability to get it back running on my Win-7 gaming rig, I thought to try CFS2 once again, which loaded and runs very good.
I did not realize just how much fun CFS2 used to be.
So, been very busy getting missions, planes, scenery, weapons, etc to make CFS2 about half (so far) as bloated as my old CFS3 loads had become.
Got several USN and IJN planes recently needed for some missions.
I made the additional controller assignment changes for things like rear gunner views, animations, cowl vent flaps, etc.
But for the life of me, I can not find any assignment called Open/Close Canopy.
The 4- Concord Nose/Visor Extend/Retract assignments I found make things like the B6N2 M-12 Tenzan's rear gunner's canopy open and close.
But no combination of key commands I can find, or tried, will open/close any plane's main pilot canopy, if so equipped.
What am I missing?
Can I create that effect by editing the .cfg file somehow?
Is there a "Patch" hidden somewhere out there that makes upgrades to the CFS2 game for additional controller assignments?
Sorry to be a bother.
Regards,
SPQR33
:salute:
Ps: Where can I find a CFS2 Mission builder update, and is it as easy to use as CFS3's?
