Sinking problem with JF" aircraft for BoB add-on.

Have a problem with some of the Just Flight's BoB expansion aircraft moleing or sinking into the ground. Does anyone else have this problem ? Always been around and i just overlooked it but it is annoying . Is there a fix for this ? Any help out there ? Thanks,Scott

It seems i heard about this problem years ago but can't remember the fix. The problem shows up on other aircraft parked on the field at a airbase. They sink into the ground about halfway.

Tried to have a look at files but couldn't use notepad. Thought it would be in the XPD files ? Doesn't bdp change when swapping spawns with bdp zapper ? Thanks for any help.

You are correct that if one uses the bdp zapper or anything that delete bdp files, there would be lost! ( Nothing to do with spawns BTW). I always thought it was something to do with contact points in the cfg file. If it is in the bdp, then you better keep these to replace each time you zap all bdps!

Not clear why you can't see them with notepad?

Thought it was in the config. file of the aircraft too. Any ideas ? Don't know how to mod the bdp files. Would have to mod each time i used the bdp zapper,(or save bdp files), so it makes no sense to do it that way. Any help out there ?

Look at some of the old threads such as

However although the bdps in the zip files are a solution, that is only for the aircraft mentioned. Normally I never need to delete bdps en masse so just delete those relating to something you have altered.

Thanks mongoose. Will dig deeper. Thought someone may have already fixed the problem with the Just Flight BoB aircraft. Thanks for the links. How do you mod bdp files as using notepad ? Gives me a weird display when used. Cannot make any sense of what it shows. Is there another program to view the bdp files ? Thanks,Scott
