Sinviation Has Stopped Working?

Glad somebody wrote in about this - I've been having trouble downloading from Simviation for some time, say at least a week. I can go to the Simviation site, open it, find something I can use, and start the download process. What then happens is a message arrives in red, to the effect that I can only download two files simultaneously. If I am getting this msg in error, try cleaning my internet hold and cache files, or use another server to download. What makes this interesting is I get this message before I've even started a download. Went to the Simviation forum to report it; I got a message back saying the same things the red msg said; in other words, clean my machine and try Firefox or something else; it's on my end and not on theirs.

I've managed to get back in, the main page comes up all right. Re: the post above - I've tried to install Firefox as my secondary browser. My machine lets the install begin until it puts up a dialog box saying I've got to restart the machine to eliminate a previous aborted installation of FF. I reboot - and I get the same dialog box, so we're looping.

If this is going to cause major problems on my machine, I'd sooner unregister from Simviation and try to set things back up all over again.

I got into the old CFS2 planes and was able to download a SBD skin just fine and I'm not register user. Using IE8.

Well, installed Firefox as the alternate browser to use when accessing SimViation, downloaded the files, installed them and everything works just fine.

I sure would like to know what caused this hiccup that required shifting from MIE to FF, I was using MIE to download from SimViation for years until the last week or 10 days.
