Skilled helicopter pilot.

I call shenanigans..... Although, even if it is edited/CGI, I will add this, it is actually very well done. The movement of the chopper just doesn't seem right to me, and the fact that the pick up is off frame or completely blurred raises an eyebrow. I would say it is a combination of real & CGI.....

Hmmmmm....definite signs of an edit here and there...some focus anomalies out of synch. Brings back memories of Vic Morrow. Gotta call hijinks too.

Good stuff though, even if it's an edit.

Wow.... I stand corrected.... That video def. shows that it is possible.... The skill required to plop those trees right in the pickle barrel so to speak is amazing.....

Maybe a different perspective
You beat me to the punch. I watched that yesterday immediately after watching the video in the first link. It's quite a bit more exciting from the pilot's perspective. It seems he was wearing a cam on his helmet...

Kudos go to the guy on the ground who manages to hook the next load in about 2 seconds! :)

Thanks for reminding me of Vic Morrow, had to jump in the Youtube time machine and watch him again as the bad cop in The California Kid. (good tv movie)

As for the helicopter pilot, I think if he was emailing a job application and included the video link(s) that he would definitely have an edge on the competition.
