Skin changing program?

I don't remember if there was a utility to change skins in CFS3. It would be nice to have a program like the OAW, by Mr Jellly, for EAW. It changes skins, terrain, missions and campaigns for EAW to were you can change anything back and forth.

I would be interested in just changing the skins in planes.

There is. Martin Wright made one - it works well, but you get the problem of ill-adapted specular and reflective layers. For example, with a natural metal Thunderbolt, the S and R layers will be done in such a way that the markings do not shine. Now if you change the visible skin, the T layer, the R and S layers will remain unchanged and give you ghost images of the areas which were painted (as opposed to metal) in the other skin.

It also gets confusing... Better to make stand-alones, once and for all.

Go to the CFS3 utilities page; the program is called Paint Swap.
