• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

If so, I hope someone comes forward with something. I'd like it too.
 
I'd like to see some too, i think alot of people stopped painting the Alpha model when the Captian sim model came out which is a pity, although it dont have all the bells and whistles, its still a good looking model. good luck.

The Captain Sim one is to modern for what I like, I think alfa had put a nice product together.
 
IIRC the Alphasim herc had mappping issues on the rear aerolons the top and bottom would both be the same colour.
thats why many people didnt paint it much.

You are correct...on some of the models...not all of them....the lower stabs were not even texture mapped, and on some the upper and lower surfaces used the same mapping.

I have a paint kit nearly done for the Alpha C-130.....been working on it for a LONG TIME.....never seem to get around to finishing it up. Want to do a few personal cargo schemes and a good representation of the Hercs that used to be flown by the 179th Air Lift Wing stationed here at KMFD.
