• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Skyking53 - Modern GA - Cessna 414 Chancellor

Landed in one piece (and not in a crumpled mass either!!) at WATT in Kaupang, Indonesia. Pressing on for Australia shortly. A light is beginning to glow at the end of the tunnel.....

"G'day Mates!" Have arrived safely at Compulsory Checkpoint #4, YPDN, in the "Land Down Under", Darwin, Australia. A little cloudy on the way in, but all went well. Just got here but am anxious to move on already as Melbourne is not that far away (relatively speaking).....

Don't know for sure what happened. Computer crashed and forced me to abort this flight, however there was no record in my Duenna output folder except the SystemLog.TXT for 2009-11-16. Will try and fly this leg again later.....

I would like to take a moment and thank the Committee and those involved in the 2009 London To Melbourne Challenge and say what a fantastic job! Unfortunately, engine problems and the inability to complete repairs on a timely basis took me out of the race at Darwin (actually a major computer crash), I had an enjoyable time nonetheless. And while I was never in contention as far as the actual race was concerned I did accomplish the goals which I originally set for myself, that being the correct use of the Duenna system and proper reporting.

Thanks again to those involved in this venture. I look forward to next year and some serious racing. Job well done guys!
