I get it now..and all I can say is Wow! this is too cool. And another round of applause to Tim, the flight simmers best friend :applause:

.
Many, many thanks for a truly wonderful aircraft, Tim! Not only is it a marvelous bird to begin with, but your tireless, outstanding work on this model gives us, the grateful end users, something to be enormously happy with, for years to come!

You only get increasingly better, with time!

Oh the humanity! . . . -Jim
:icon_lol: :icon_lol:
Jim, in addition to the original Hindenburg-disaster utterance of course, did you "catch" the one in Seinfeld, when Newman was driving the flaming mail truck? I purt' near swallered my t'baccy, LOL !

Even better, if you're old enough to remember, was on "WKRP" when they were tossing live turkeys out of a helicopter.

Engine-specific sounds: dc-7_snds3350.zip (Flighsim)

Doesn't even need editing since it's mysteriously configured for just one engine already.

Thanks for the AD-1, Tim!

Most excellent! Thank You!

How do I get the muzzle flashes to... uh... flash?

FSX SP2 Acceleration Douglas A-1J Skyraider. This release includes three Viet Nam era paint schemes and visibility options for the underwing stores. Must have Acceleration for some features to work. One of the most dearly missed planes from FS9 :applause::applause::applause:
Just gimme a native C-123 and I'm in heaven...

BTW I prefer Lawdog's Hellcat V2 sounds...

Well i got to take her for a flight and I must say another top-notch release, the VC is amazing, only one observation, the brakes seem to be rather strong, while taxiing i tapped them to slow down and flipped over!

It's a fantastic plane ! She looks absolutely beautifull and the virtual cockpit is a real pleasure for the eyes.
I've already found her a new home:

However, landing her on the carrier seems too difficult for me. I can catch the wire with no problems at all, that's ok. But once the cable is catched, the plane would tilt forward and make a nose crash on the deck, just like when you try to use the brakes.

Could it be the center of gravity placed too much forward ?

Usually this is a result of FSX's improper handling of tail dragger carrier landings. Landing a minimum speed with a light load usually helps. I won't be able to try this plane until later tonight or perhaps tomorrow (too much work this evening).

I will try with the minimum load then.
I already tried the minimum speed I think (below 80 knots :/ ) with no success...
But it's ok, I just love this bird anyway :blind:

Another stunner from Piglet! I'm pretty sure he's got to be the freeware designer of the past decade.
