Skyray

of course this is real aircraft, a F4D later known as F6. A beautiful and fast aircraft. A real climber too !

You gotta love early jets :jump: !

Is this a new project ?

I had a Navy pilot that once worked for me that was badly burned in a F-4D. Although he didn't blame the plane. In fact he gave it high marks. It was the predesessor of the A-4. I think it was pretty good looking airplane in it's time.
Even though it didn't have a propeller.

Bruce - Is that the French Surcouf Submarine? I saw it when it was the Boston Army Base in 1940. It really was big!

Other than Bruce448 I'm also known as WAFU448. WAFU is a term of endearment in the Royal Navy for anyone to do with Naval Aviation (Wet and F*****g Useless) which originally applied the old canvas skinned aircraft when they got wet and couldn't fly due to the weight, especially when you leave the hangar doors open).
