Skysim Mirage 3 out!

Is there any possibility that this wonderful machine is going to make its way down to FS2004 as was intended? Or is it only FSX compatable?:help:

At the moment the FS2004 version is still un-decided. Because of various reasons that I won't highlight here and also the relatively poor sales and the ammount of work required it is unlikely that it will give a return for the time involved.

thanx a lot for the reply FSDSMAN, really appreciate it! Would have been nice though, a FS2004 variant, lol looks like I have to go buy FSX acceleration update, had the original FSX and it set me off it once and for all but wwould really like to fly your Mirage:jump:

Anyway, here is an idea for you, since you have been working on the Mirageiii, will there be maybe be in the pipeline a MirageiiCZ or MirageiiiCJ type, with the clamshell nozzles, I think that Mirages still used the Atas 9B:iidea:

Ohh and I saw on this thread that there is maybe a Cheetah in the pipeline aswell? Cheetah D or C if I may ask, even though it is still a long way from decided. The Cheetah D photos are easy to find for cockpit shots, the Cheetah C harder since it has been a classified cocpit for very long, but I have some good Cheetah C photos that I took one day at the SAAF museum with a mock cockpit open, lol hope it was not illigal but who knows, will help in any way I can especially when it comes to the cheetah, has some nice and I mean real nice 3-view drawings of the cheetah also...

Anyway thanx again, hope to hear your two cents on the subject very soon!

Blessings :icon31:

I do of course hope for a Cheetah C, but I think the simpler Cheetah E is more realistic if we get a canard Mirage pack. The Cheetah E which was based on the Mirage IIIEZ used a "Kfir c7" nose and canards and should take much shorter time to build from Marks Mirage IIIE model.

The cheetah D is more or less a no-go as lang as Mark don't have a dedicated twin seater mirage III/5 to build it from.

yes interesting that not one post on the topic from it's native land :gossip:

My experience from working with the French is that they boycott everything that isn’t in their native language... There was a reason for the Mirage in the first place....lol

Being myself a french canadian and visit France once a year, thanks to my two classy real french stepsisters living in Nantes and Montauban.

I post a tread a few weeks ago on a very popular french FS Forum
to ask why, contrary to the rest of the world, there is no reactions in France about the superb SkySim Mirage III/R/5.

I received very few reactions from my tread.

My own large experience with french people in general and with french flightsimmers in particular tells me that JensOle is not very far from the thruth.

1.
French Flightsimmers awake themselves the night to hate Paywares !

2.
French Flightsimmers accept only to comment positively on Freewares
and even more if they are developped but one of their own ( arrogant )
french FS Divas.

It is a shame to be so narrowly minded but is is the thruth !

But do not get me wrong .........I loved french women....particularly
on french beaches !!!! :monkies: And they loved french canadians !!!

Well being neutral and only living 60 miles from French soil I remain tight lipped - as some enjoy what they think is free for various reasons - so they must accept the Guillotine in a few days for such beliefs.:monkies:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Is this plane free? I am downloading something right now off their site and i didnt pay anything for it... i am very confused...

The Mirage IIIEE repaint has been uploaded to avsim and flightsim.com. Enjoy!

Judging from the strong S-A interest, a Cheetah of some mark should be a hit Mark!....

I would have an educated guess that it was a rework of updates etc that occured during it's life. After all who would build a new design on tech that were 20 years old by then.

but was or did Atlas aircraft build new airframes? shhhhhhhh....... no one knows! its all still under lock and key and theres been LOADS of guesses lately. issues like the cockpit on the cheeta airframe isnt in the same place as the cockpit on the mirage 3 airframe etc...

its all still very hush hush :rapture:
