SkyUnlimited Texan - Harvard paint contest starting

When we first announced the idea for a paint contest for the SkyUnlimited Texan - Harvard package, we were thinking of doing both FSX and FS9 at the same time. Well there's been a change in plans and the first part of the re-paint contest will be for the FS9 version only. This is to help promote the recently released upgrade to the FS9 versions.

Following the advice of members here on the SOH forum we're making stripped down versions of our models available for free so anyone can participate.

The reason I'm posting here in the FSX forum is that a lot of folks who purchased our FS9 planes have now switched to FSX and might have missed all of our announcements about the upgrade and the paint contest. Both the FSX and FS9 versions of our models use the same base texture maps. There was a slight change to the area on the bottom of the fuselage where it meets the wing, but for the most part everything else is the same.

Here's a link to more details and the rules for the contest

The Texan and Harvard have been popular subjects for re-paints in the past. We're hoping this contest can re-ignite that interest.
