overheard on my scanner this morning,i didnt look at the scanner face plate so im nut sure what freq it was...but im asuming norcal ...
the set up...a pilot was getting clearances as normal,and ATC was "vectoring?" him ...suddenly the ATC says.."look out behind,and below you,a U2 coming up out of beale at a high rate of speed"
guy responds..
"well you tell HIM to slow down,cause im peddling as fast as i can,these old beasts werent built for speed"
atc responded with a laugh and told him to make a turn to port...but i just thought it was funny to hear...never heard what the "old beast" was...or where it was going...but i laughed
