Slightly OT..... this kinda sucks....

hey Matt, sorry to hear about your eyes. That's not good, and you only have 2 eyes to use, Take extra care with them, I don't care if you have to take time out from simming and painting textures to recover, your health is far more important. I know it will be a bore and won't be easy when you start getting withdrawal symptoms during that time, but you have to allow your health to make a full and proper recovery, and after that manage your time on the pc better to look after your health. All the best and I wish you a good and speedy recovery Matt.

thanks Mark, while i'm waiting i'm just working on a few airfield projects i have going... namely Baxterley/Charity Farm and Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Κω, Ιπποκράτης (Kos Inernational Airport, Hippocrates) the latter Ironically is where modern medicine comes from... Kos, birthplace of Hippocrates, father of modern medicine, whose oath (if i recall) all doctors must swear to... unfortunately i know the oath off by heart (being a Ko-an after all... i know all about my little island, and it is little; 25mi by 5mi at the widest point, and only 2.5mi from Turkish coast, HAF Fighters regularly seen overhead due to being able to lob shells at one another if it ever occured at that range, was also one of the few places in World War Two where 2 'Special Forces' units met each other; the Brandenburgers on the Axis side, and the Special Boat Squadron, the SAS' Wet brothers... unfortunately the SBS got beat, several members swam to neighbouring islands and 'liberated' boats to assist evacuate the British Troops who stayed until they more or less ran out of supplies, they held to the last, a fact which many elder Ko-an's haven't forgot, next to Kos there's a dormant Volcano called Nisyros, and also you know your stone washed jeans you most likely wear? well between Kos and Nisyros is the island Giali, 2nd largest pumace mine globally, and the pumace is used in achieving that worn look in the jeans... i can go on forever about Kos, so i'll end it there...)

few images to wet the whistle? sure thing, Baxterley is in sim working and being worked on trees are Gerrish Greys (Tough landing in a breeze at BAX) it's keeping me busy, along with Miltons Harpoon and IRIS work, juggling the load is tough work though....

Matt,

If it will help, I can find another texture artist for the Harpoon. It's not worth the cost of your health.

it's fine Milton... i got this :) besides i need to keep active... i hate not doing anything, my mindset won't let me just stand by and watch :salute:

Hey Matt,

sorry to hear about your eye, be sure to look after it, and don't p!ss the docs and nurses off to much. As I always say, never offend those that make food for you, you may end up with 'extra' ingredients in your lovely restaurant meal that you said was to salty, lol. Same goes for anyone servicing your needs. My wife and I wish you all the best, yup, she's been reading over my shoulder again!!If you need anything, 2nd rate texture wing-man, etc. just holler. I'll find some time for a buddy, no probs (can't promise your no-sleeping regime, but I'll do what I can.

eye-eye cap'n,
Jamie
