well more snow so called 'chaos' at my local airport...
Emirates 777-300ER diverted to EGBB instead of EGLL, pilot made a whoopsie on taxi after landing and got the thing stuck...

My aunt lives in Southport. It's quite bad round there, I've heard most of the high street is shut.

Why on earth would you want to leave Memphis and go to Southport?
Looking out of the window at work, it would appear that the snow in London has all gone. We are back to the more familiar winter drizzle. Now I will have to find another excuse for not visiting my parents for Christmas

I remember learning at college that the influence extends well into the continent due to an increased number of warm-weather systems travelling eastward.
the gulf stream isnt on that side of the uk, its runs up the west side then goes up towards norway
