SOH Flight Center Has Arrived

This has been in the makings for years and tonight www.sim-outhouse.net has arrived. This will be out Flight Center and it has forums setup for online flying for our members.
You will have to re-signup because we have brand new forums for you.

This will be our alternate website/forums when things are not working over here.

We will in a few days have our downloads section on the other server as well.

And I finally have my router set up for online flying/crashing/doing stoopid things in planes. YEA! Now I will be able to fly and not feel so utterly alone in the big blue sky.

Hmmm, all sounds like fun for you fliers, and I can see the reasons for doing it. It worries me a little that it splits up the Outhouse family between the serious fliers, some of whom are chums of mine, and those of us who are too dumb/lazy to find out about online flying, or don't have the time to spend hours and hours gazing at the ocean! (I am not the least bit interested in learning ATC procedures, either).

Hope it doesn't happen that way, anyway, enjoy !
 
Top stuff, I've been looking for a decent server for ages.

Is this a "strict rules" type of server a-la VATSIM, or are things a bit more casual (i.e just don't go bombing around doing things that will annoy everyone else).
 
Merc Air's Flight 19 did it's maiden flight on the new server earlier and it went pretty well.

A nice laid back flight from LeBourget Paris (LFPB) to London City (EGLC) in Lockheed L749 Constellations with Real Weather on.

Actually we are already split up by like that.

There are those of us who fly on line together all the time.

There are those of us who fly together when they can make it.

There are those of us who don't show up for months on end and still have a great time when we do.

There are those of you who never show up and are missing out on some great conversations and a lot of fun.

We have not had that discussion but as SOH is rather laid back about a lot of things I can see it as a rules free server (within reason). If there are those who want to use ATC type procedures we could set up a seperate instance of FS Host for them. Myself its no ATC thats just one part of the game that does not interest me.
