• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Well it's that time of the year to help with our site. I guess by now some have seen the lettering Ickie has put up top. We need everybody's support on this matter it you want to keep this site up and running. We are lucky enough to have Ickie,CK and others keeping up the server at no charge. This isn't a profit making site as you already know. So anything you can donate and afford would be much appreciated. I know we just got through Christmas and the way the economy is money is tight for everyone. We normally have the same ones donate every year and to me this isn't fair. Everybody should help out a little bit. It make it much easier on all of our members. You guys already know I don't like to ask for money or support but if you could help us out in this matter it would be much appreciated. ...Thanks again, Mike
 
You can use PayPal if you have an account, or directly use your credit card. I found it quite easy to use, and I don't have a P.P. account. :wavey:

Moe, right now my (our) purse strings are tied, I have PP and I have a CC, but we HAVE to pay down Christmas expenses before charging more. I get my little guv-mint check in two weeks and I'll get a contribution off then. Until then I hope all understand, like Albert King said, "It a bit** bein' po".

Just shoved a bit over by PayPal. Unfortunately not as much as I´d liked to, but moving house and the related expenses are eating me up at the moment...

I think you'll get another burst of donations at the end of the week. A lot of us get paid every two weeks and just need to wait for our pay. My donation will arrive this Friday morning.

I can not express enough how appreciative I am of the fact that there is no advertizing here. A rare thing these days.
