lol, Boy, I saw this thread. . .read that very first post and it went right over my head, lol. I never went back to follow up on any of the subsequent posts. Never could figure out why the thread was so popular. . .heck it was just a picture of an imaginary magazine cover, lol.You were working on the Scenery project

2 or 3D cockpit instruments ?
There has to be SOME pleasure to be derived from developing an aircraft... if teasing a few simmers wasn't entertaining people would just release things and go 'surprise!' Which we were actually tempted to do... just have you spot it in the download section one day... out of nowhere.your all a bunch of flipping teasers!! you know that right?![]()

I won't forget that one... It will be done once its out!LOLthanks Roger..:salute:
This is so lovely! It's so much better than the Navion that Richard Schwertfeger and I did several years ago...![]()
The fabled father Bill?
High praise from you sirI hated the navion at first... even when I'd joined Larry on this project... flying yours was what tipped my head over the side and made me love the plane... now I'm a bit navionutty.
I'm happy to hear that you are still enjoying it. Before the great "AVSIM Hack" of several years ago, Richie and my version of the Navion Rangemaster had >36k downloads. Unfortunately, that d/l count was lost in the library's wipeout. The current v2.0 at AVSIM shows only 8,197 downloads.
You and Richie were a great team. What happened to him?
