SOH RTW First Public Practice

Had a perfect landing, so I thought, but duenna show crash. so baton back to Fhaw.

Taco, you think maybe that BUMPY rwy there caused a damage crash? My wings were flexing (ext view) pretty bad on rollout.

Edit2: There are some errors in the duenna an expert wiil have to look at.

Taco

Your Duenna shows 75.1 seconds of Overspeed and it looks like

Info: REALISM/StressDamage: 'False' (NOT GOOD)

Is set wrong. Should be why you completed the leg but only Duenna showed a crash.

Hey All,

A follow-up to what Dave said. Don't know about FSX but in FS9 you can overspeed up to 59 seconds when you hit 60 secs it's a crash. So 75 is likely too many.

You fellows are more than likely right. :ernae: On my descent was having problems with the Auto pilot and I went overspeed thought I caught it in time but must have not. What the heck, it was a nice flight.:applause:

One of you might want to PM Reggie and have him look at the pertinent Duenna files to see what he can see. That would be a pretty definitive answer.

ONWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What better way to wait for the bus into town than to watch some sky racing :icon_lol:

Guess I'll take the ever-exciting GA leg.

DIAP-->DGTK. C-182RG

No lights but I'm living dangerously! :icon_twi:

Would you rather it be a Vimy?????? At least you have lights and hmmm.. did you order the optional air conditioning? Happy landing John.

At cruise altitude, 25K. Draining fuel from the evil fuselage tank. ETE 1:33. Oh, and wish me luck. No night landings in the Warbirdsim P-51C. And all my daytime ones have been ... "interesting"...

Ah kewl, the Bomber12 Mustang makes an appearance. I'll give you a weather report in a bit Paul, chopping on the Concorde panel at the moment....

ETE 1:05. TY for the WX. Seems clear up hear at present. Rgr panel chopping.

ETE 0:45. As the first hints of dawn appear along the eastern horizon.

FKKD wx:

none :d clear, no wind.

Just one 12,000ft knob of a mountain about 30mi. short of FKKD. Check GPS or stay over water and come into bay.

Copy WX and hill report, TY. I've been eyein that hill on the GPS as it gets closer...
