It is very shortly going to $29.95 a year. been using one for two years now and am generally happy with it. It sort of depends on the quality of your internet provider. I have C**cast and even at maxium speed, I will get funky effects with the phone if I'm downloading something at the same time a call comes in. We more or less use it as a supplement to our cellphones and it works well for that. sures beats $60 a month to v**izon. One thing to note is that your 911 calls will operate a little differently.
