• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Some in game views inside the Lightining

WOW!!:jump: Love that last shot!

You guys are going to have to start posting performance specs soon... the Round The World Crew who flies in FSX is really going to be interested in those perf specs!!

Masterful artwork Gibby!! :medals:

Thanks for the info!
DUH! I forgot that Sir 'DCC' Lightning has been involved in some capacity... hopefully in the performance specs department as well.
:applause:

BTW, DCC, im also located in the Washington area. Woodinville to be exact. Very cool flight test blog you made!

Concerning the metal finish, it has been pointed out to me by the two experts on this subject that I was indeed, incorrect. It is, after all, a bare metal finish and not painted. I do apologize for not only the confusion but also for the statement negating that.

So, we will be fixing this and bringing it into the BMF state in the next couple of days. Screenies will be shown soon.

In terms of what types of failures/fuel/prop/hydraulics/oil systems will be functional, I will leave that to Chuck, FSD and DCC who are all working on this one together. Just so you are aware, DCC is also doing the soundset for this plane.

Moving along and coming soon!

Interesting read, sound is so under rated or too difficult to get right that big part of simulation is lost. I look forward to hearing more about your progress with the P-38 project.
