Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Some liveries uploaded soon

falcon409

SOH-CM-2026
This is for anyone who might have the Falco F.8L. I've done some liveries and plan to upload them for anyone who might be interested. These are 4096 (dds5) textures only. The two blue versions are redo's of ones done by other texture artists, I revised them to 4096_DDS5 by redrawing everything to size. . .these are not 2048 textures blown up to 4096. Also, the two that were previously done have various changes and updates to them, so they are not identical. The red livery was one I found on Airliners_dot_net.

I've just converted the Falco to FSX native format,
but sadly there are some issues with the textures.
The Falco does not have separate textures for glass, so the whole texture
becomes transparent.
I've tried several settings, but sadly without succes.

Oh man, that would have been great. I was actually going to play with the glass texture at some point, but I guess I won't bother now.
